Kellar Mahaney Sees Colorful Season Ahead
ZIONSVILLE, Ind.—In contrast to the gray turn in the weather, The Kellar Mahaney Gallery is looking forward to a bustling holiday “Season of Color.”
The special holiday exhibit opened on Friday, November 25 and runs through December 24, 2011. The mother and daughter team are looking ahead to the holidays and the coming year with more plans to expand the artist’s exposure and the gallery’s merchandising efforts. During Zionsville’s month-long “Christmas in the Village” events and throughout the holidays, the gallery will be celebrating a “Season of Color” featuring Kellar Mahaney’s originals and giclees, along with selected artists.

“When people come into the gallery,” says Lolly, “you can just see their spirits rise – my mother’s work is so joyful and accessible. And we have several artists who regularly visit to study her loose style of working. They can see immediately how well-structured her work is. Her brushwork is just outstanding.”
